Job Description
HF Sinclair is seeking a Process Safety Engineer in El Dorado, KS who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring key Process Safety programs and systems for HF Sinclair. The role supports safe, reliable, and profitable refinery operations by ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate standards, and good engineering practices.
Requirements
- Provide day-to-day Process Safety support to refinery operations and engineering teams
- Serve as the refinery Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA) Technical Authority
- Perform and maintain monthly performance metric reporting for Process Safety programs and systems
- Provide technical guidance, training, and presentations on developing and evolving Process Safety initiatives
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and program owner for Process Safety programs and systems
- Participate in refinery Process Safety audits and assessments
- Support Process Safety Management (PSM) action item tracking and closure
- Perform special assignments or additional tasks as assigned by management
