Job Description
Huntsville Hospital is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive direct patient care in a Pediatric Hospitalist role. This role involves patient history collection, physical exam, diagnosis, prescription, and health maintenance/promotion. The NP also takes accountability for staff and student education, clinical research, and program development.
Requirements
- Completion of Nurse Practitioner Master's of Science in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Successful completion of a National Certification Exam for NP.
- Current registration with the Alabama Board of Nursing and the Board of Medical Examiners.
- Approval of Huntsville Hospital credentialing board.
- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner national certification (preferred).
