Job Description
The Youth Care Professional I at Hillside provides relationship-based, trauma-informed solutions to youth and families. This role focuses on creating a safe and supportive environment, assisting with transitions, mentoring, providing emotional support, and assisting with after-school and weekend activities. The position requires maintaining safety protocols and responding to resident emergencies, fostering positive relationships, and ensuring program standards.
Requirements
- CPR certification
- Valid NYS driver's license with a clean record
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of behavioral management techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable physical stamina (standing, walking, driving)
