Job Description
The Youth Care Professional III delivers relationship-based solutions to youth and families in transition, focusing on fostering their growth and independence. This role involves mentoring, training staff, and performing shift charge responsibilities with a focus on safety, trauma-informed care, and behavioral management. They also provide life skills and social skills training and support staff.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 18 months’ work experience in residential care environment
- CPR certification (or obtained within 60 days of hire)
- Valid NYS driver’s license (for minimum 1 year) with clean driving record & required insurance
- Knowledge of behavioral management and TCI (Therapeutic Crisis Intervention) protocols
