Mechanical Engineering Senior Professional

Hitachi Energy is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Global Engineering Center, Vadodara, India. The role involves developing standardized design modules and a configurable product portfolio to accelerate quotation and design processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• 09–12 years of experience in design engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams
• Proactive, self-motivated, and driven ownership
• Open to change, feedback, and continuous improvement
• Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., Creo)
• Knowledge of Lean Engineering or Design for Configuration principles
• Proven experience in modular design and product standardization
• Experience in modulation processes
• Experience in CPLM
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language
