We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Coordinator to support our gear manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will assist the Purchasing Manager in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring raw materials, components, and services critical to production.
Requirements
- Assist in the sourcing and evaluation of suppliers for raw materials, components, and outsourced services.
- Issue purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure on-time arrival of materials.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain positive, long-term vendor relationships.
- Work with the quality department to resolve material non-conformances or performance issues.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation within ERP/MRP systems.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement and supply chain functions.
