Job Description
Hog Island Oyster Co. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for their farm-to-table shellfish business. The role involves working on boats, trucks, trailers, cranes, pumps, and refrigeration equipment, with a focus on diverse tasks and a commitment to company values, environmental sustainability, and team collaboration. This is a full-time position with a 4-day 10-hour workday.
Requirements
- Teamwork
- High School degree or equivalent
- Valid California Drivers License, Clean DMV
- Basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing experience
- Aptitude for mechanical troubleshooting
- Knowledge and understanding of hydraulics
- Welding and professional mechanical experience (plus)
