Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join our team at Holcim's Haughmond Hill Quarry in Shrewsbury. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance, servicing, and repairs on site equipment, supporting safe systems of work, and maintaining tidy, safe working areas.
Requirements
- Mechanical maintenance experience
- Technical qualification (NVQ3 or equivalent) or time served
- Strong focus on health and safety
- Welding (Shielded metal & Arc) and fabrication experience
- Previous experience in the quarry is desirable
