Senior Data Scientist (Hybrid)

At Homebase, we're seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our team. In this key leadership role, you'll support the technical roadmap and strategy for our machine learning platform, guide the design and implementation of essential platform components, and establish best practices for data quality, governance, and security standards. You'll also provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineers and cultivate partnerships across various teams to address technical and non-technical problems collaboratively.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience, specializing in data science and ML
• Proficient in building and deploying machine learning models, including language models
• Experience in architecting, designing, and implementing scalable ML platforms and infrastructure
• Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset and attention to detail
• Effective communicator and collaborator across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proficient in Python, SQL, Spark, Databricks, Git, or a similar technical stack
