Federal Sales Engineer

Horizon3.ai is a fast-growing, remote cybersecurity company dedicated to enabling organizations to proactively find and fix exploitable attack vectors. We're looking for a passionate Sales Engineer to join our Federal Team in Washington, DC, to help prospects and clients understand the value and capabilities of our product(s) and services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer/Solutions Architect in the cybersecurity domain
• Familiarity with managed services delivery models, SOC workflows, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, PTaaS, and MDR
• Proficiency with cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), identity systems (AD/AAD), and networking fundamentals
• Strong understanding of cyber threats, risk management, and cybersecurity solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrates ability to simplify complex technical topics for a non-technical audience
