Job Description
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician at Horizons Incorporated, you will perform machine troubleshooting and maintenance work for the repair of capital equipment. You will diagnose equipment issues and make necessary repairs, while maintaining HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems in an efficient, safe, and timely manner. You will work in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment and be expected to adapt to changing conditions and deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
Requirements
- Strong trouble shooting capabilities
- Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Able to read equipment instruction manuals including wiring diagrams
- Understanding of industrial electrical wiring and controls
- Experience with pneumatic, mechanical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to stand, walk, and move across the production floor for the full shift
- Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs regularly
- Manual dexterity and ability to work in hot, humid, or chemical-exposed environments (with appropriate PPE)
- Ability to operate Tow motor
