We are looking for a Volunteer Services Coordinator who will be responsible for all aspects of volunteer management at Hospice of the Chesapeake.
Requirements
- College degree preferred
- Minimum two years’ experience in an office or customer service environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Exemplary written and oral communication skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to address issues directly and effectively with staff and volunteers
- Ability to deal tactfully, directly, and effectively with a diverse population of volunteers and staff
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- Able to prioritize and accomplish most important tasks within a demanding and fast paced environment
- Willingness and ability to function as a positive team player
- Must be self-motivated and willing to self-direct
- Ability to simultaneously handle multiple assignments and projects with speed and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under time constraints
