Job Description
Howmet Aerospace is seeking an EDM Sinker Operator at its Engines Products - Cleveland Operations facility to support molding and die manufacturing. This role involves operating EDM Sinker machines, applying standard mold making techniques, and ensuring proper setup of mold details. Howmet is a world-class aerospace and gas turbine component producer, focusing on vacuum melted superalloys and high-performance components.
Requirements
- Ability to operate EDM Sinker machines (Sodick and Charmille)
- Interpret design blueprints and set-up sheets
- Perform operations within very close tolerances
- Ability to inspect own work
- Ability to work with Engineering and Programming
- Comply with Corporate EHS, Quality and HR rules and standards
- Able to operate multiple machinery
- Ability to work with Bridge Port, Grinders, Saws, EDM
