Job Description
Howmet Aerospace Inc. (NYSE: HWM) is seeking a highly motivated EHS Engineer to lead and oversee risk assessment and safety management within their Carson, CA facility. The role involves ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations, managing EHS programs, investigating incidents, and providing training. The company provides advanced engineered solutions for aerospace and transportation industries.
Requirements
- Lead and offer guidance to site team on risk assessment and risk prediction
- Ensure Compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety Requirements
- Support location EHS Manager in overall EHS process implementation
- Provide oversight for effective EHS Internal Audit Program
- Provide direction and oversight for the respective EHS Single Point Accountable (SPA'S) Program
- Coordinate EHS training programs and provide training for employees
- Establish permanent EHS files and adhere to company policies
- Participate in incident investigations and corrective actions
- Provide training programs and keep them up-to-date
- Participate in EHS Continuous Professional Education (CPE)
