Job Description
Howmet Aerospace Inc. in La Porte, Indiana is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Plant Controller in general accounting and financial reporting. This role involves analyzing manufacturing costs, maintaining fixed assets, and supporting business operations, including expense processing and budget management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inventory analysis, variance identification, and support for financial reporting processes.
Requirements
- Analyze Manufacturing Inventory Cost
- Maintain Payroll & Fringe expenses and Labor Standards
- Maintain & Administer Site’s Fixed Assets and Capital Plan
- Internal and External reporting requirements
- Investigate standard variances
- Perform manufacturing analysis
- Assist in calculating and planning cost reduction initiatives
- Review/perform account reconciliations
- Participate/back-up for daily reporting
- Assist with physical inventories of product and fixed asset inventory
- Support management financial requests for information
- Participate in monthly finance close
- Assist controller in forecasting/ budgeting as needed
