Job Description
The Powerhouse Engineer is responsible for operating, maintaining, repairing, and servicing all boilers and compressors in steam and compressed air systems. This role involves manipulating controls, reading/calibrating equipment, maintaining systems, and ensuring proper operation. The position requires a Universal Refrigeration certificate and a 3rd class stationary engineer operator certification.
Requirements
- Manipulate controls to regulate steam and air supply.
- Read, record, repair, and calibrate meter readings.
- Repair and maintain condensate systems and boiler systems.
- Treat and clean boiler house and compressor house equipment.
- Test and adjust boiler water.
- Establish and maintain equipment records.
- Prepare boilers for annual state inspection.
