Job Description
The Quality Engineer at Howmet Aerospace Inc. is responsible for leading and guiding the implementation of process improvements across the organization to achieve operational excellence. This role involves driving adherence to discipline and robust processes, focusing on standardization and objective key performance metrics. The Engineer also establishes cross-functional relationships and fosters a proactive engagement culture, while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Purchase order and specification review leader
- Customer advocate
- Process improvement leader focused on review and elimination of rework
- Ensure customer verification and submission
- Proficiency in ISO 9000 and/or AS9100
- Experience in coordinating corrective/preventative actions
- Understanding of PPAP and GD&T
- Basic computer skills
