A General Counsel / Head of Legal is needed to lead the legal and compliance function of a rapidly growing technology company operating in regulated industries. The role focuses on building and managing the legal strategy, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and acting as a trusted advisor to the executive team and Board of Directors. It requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on legal expertise, and commercial acumen.
Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive legal experience
- 5+ years in a General Counsel / Head of Legal role within SaaS, FinTech, RegTech, or other compliance-driven industries
- Strong knowledge of AML, KYC, data protection, and financial regulations
- Experience leading enterprise SaaS contracts and cross-border negotiations
- Proven ability to build and scale a global legal function
- Strong business orientation and ability to balance legal risk with strategic objectives
