General Counsel (Legal & Compliance) - B2B SaaS (RegTech)

This is a Contract General Counsel (Legal & Compliance) role for a leading RegTech SaaS company serving enterprise customers worldwide. The role involves leading a global legal and compliance function, managing legal affairs, advising leadership, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The company is scaling globally and requires strong legal expertise to manage complex risks and enable business growth.

Requirements

• Law degree (LLB or equivalent) with bar admission / license to practice law.
• 5+ years of progressive legal experience.
• Demonstrated experience in managing legal and compliance functions within a SaaS, fintech, or RegTech company.
• Strong expertise in commercial contracts, data protection, corporate law, and compliance frameworks.
• Proven track record of leading legal & compliance teams in multi-jurisdictional environments.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to balance commercial needs with legal and compliance risks.
