Job Description
This is a full-time Application Engineer position for RF Systems within a focused team. The role involves designing, fabricating, integrating, and testing RF and millimeter wave subsystems. Responsibilities include providing technical support to scientists, developing RF subsystems, working with customers, publishing papers, and contributing to marketing initiatives. Collaboration with program managers and technical teams is essential.
Requirements
- Some experience with modeling and simulating electronic components, RF electronics and circuits is desired.
- Experience with different families of FPGAs, DSPs, or microcontrollers is desired.
- A working familiarity with Python, C and MATLAB. Simulink is a plus.
- Understanding of basic circuit theory, electromagnetics, and digital signal processing.
- Familiarity with RF and high-speed digital test equipment.
- Ability to operate complex electronic equipment.
- Working knowledge of RF components for communication and radar systems is a plus.
- U.S. Citizenship. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Proficiency in use of computers, engineering workstations, complex electronic equipment, oral and written communication, interaction with vendors/colleagues and willingness to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
