Job Description
The RF Systems Application Engineer will contribute to the design, fabrication, integration, and testing of RF and millimeter wave subsystems. This role involves providing support to scientists and engineers, solving customer problems, writing papers, and participating in marketing activities. The engineer will be part of a team working on communication, radar, and sensing applications.
Requirements
- Some experience with modeling and simulating electronic components, RF electronics and circuits
- Experience with different families of FPGAs, DSPs, or microcontrollers
- Understanding of basic circuit theory, electromagnetics, and digital signal processing
- Familiarity with RF and high-speed digital test equipment
- Ability to operate complex electronic equipment
- Ability to interact professionally
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Proficiency in use of computers and engineering workstations
