HUB International is seeking an Associate Financial Consultant to join their Employee Benefits team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and quantitative background and be eager to grow their career in employee benefits, underwriting, and financial consulting.
Requirements
- 4 year college degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Risk Management or related field or equivalent work experience
- 1-2 years prior experience in employee benefits, underwriting, actuarial support or insurance brokerage
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret claims data and financial reports
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline driven environment
- Knowledge of medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and ancillary benefit plans
- Familiarity with carrier underwriting practices and financial terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation
