Job Coach

Job Coach role at Caritas Family Solutions, providing supervision, training, and support to individuals with disabilities in community businesses and job sites.

Requirements

• Must have a flexible schedule, be willing to work evenings and weekends
• Must be high school graduate or equivalent and 18 years of age or older
• Requires knowledge, skills, mental development equal to (1) interacting with staff and clients to carry out Building Futures Program needs, (2) understanding the human services needs of clients, (3) experience and working knowledge of person centered planning, (4) experience in serving individual with developmental disabilities/mental illness, (5) computer proficiency, (6) Demonstrated ability to work with others in a variety of professional relationships
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Ability to drive a regular size and larger size van or willing to be trained
• Drive in large cities
• Present High School diploma or GED
• Able to lift 50 pounds and walk flights of stairs
• Have normal or corrective eyewear and hearing devices
• Have clarity of speech to be understood
• Good hearing
• Constitution to handle body excrements
• Must be emotionally stable enough to react appropriately to a consumer in crisis
