Registered Practical Nurse - Haemodialysis Church

Humber River Health is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to join their Haemodialysis Unit at Church. This temporary position offers an opportunity to work with a chronic disease prevention and management program, focusing on supporting patients' renal health and achieving Ontario Renal Plan goals. The role involves providing patient care, quality assurance, and potentially cross-training with the Transition Care Unit. It is a part-time position offering 7 days a week (8-12 hour shifts).

Requirements

• Graduate from a recognized Registered Practical Nursing program (two-year diploma)
• Current RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current BCLS certification
• Minimum one to two years acute care experience
• Minimum one to two years Hemodialysis experience (preferred)
• Demonstrated competency in injections, IV therapy, wound care, medication administration, etc.
