Labor and Delivery RN

Provides professional nursing skills to obstetrical, postpartum, newborn, Level 2 nursery, and post-surgical patients. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care. Participates in quality improvement and service excellence programs.

Requirements

• Graduate of a school of professional nursing
• One year of L&D experience preferred
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas, or immediately eligible
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of employment
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certifications within 90 days of employment
• Appropriate level Fetal Monitoring course within 90 days of employment
