Job Description
This PRN Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position in Huntsville, Texas provides professional nursing skills using the nursing process, assessing patients, planning care, implementing it, and evaluating outcomes. The RN works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and focuses on patient safety, comfort, and adherence to healthcare policies. Responsibilities include patient education, medication administration, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of a school of professional nursing
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certifications within 90 days of employment
- Appropriate level Fetal Monitoring course required within 90 days of employment
