Lead Mechatronics Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Mechatronics Engineer to drive the development and integration of advanced mechatronic subsystems within our robotic 3D-printing systems. You will combine hands-on engineering with technical leadership, designing, prototyping, testing, and optimizing our systems while leading a talented team of engineers and shaping how our R&D operations scale.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechatronics, Control Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in designing and implementing complex mechatronic systems (industrial equipment, robotics, or additive manufacturing).
• Strong background in mechanical design (SolidWorks or similar) and preparation of manufacturing drawings.
• Proven expertise in instrumentation and control engineering, including component selection, calibration, data acquisition, and feedback loop design.
• Experience with PLC integration and system commissioning.
• Leadership experience — mentoring engineers and driving team performance.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and agile methodologies (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Kanban).
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel within the EU and UK for installation and commissioning assignments (up to one month at a time).
