Senior Lecturer

The Senior Lecturer plays a pivotal role to ensure we have a highly engaged and productive students that enriched through education in unison to prosper in their life goals and achievements. The Senior Lecturer is responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining a modern Academic function that is digital on the inside—harnessing digital + cloud technologies to effectively capture and manage all aspects of delivering the best student experience for the Institution.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree or Higher in any of the following fields: Business, Economics or any related course
• At least 3 years experience in teaching
• Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with students and all levels of employees and management
• Excellent business judgement, analytical and decision-making skills
• Ability to review programme design on a regular basis to ensure compliance with quality standards and academic regulations and to make alterations where appropriate.
• Ability to demonstrate equivalent core knowledge in units taken
• Ability to use a range of delivery techniques to enthuse and engage students
• Capacity to develop and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, management, other organizations and external stakeholders
• Ability to communicate and impart complex conceptual ideas in a variety of way – presentations, reports, journal articles etc.
• Ability to plan workloads and projects and manage resources effectively
• Sound Computer skills
• Good work ethics, of sober habits and with the right attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great customer focus and team player
• Excellent active listening and presentation skills
• Managing succession planning of staff
• Ability to develop ideas and new student-centered approaches responding to individual learning styles
• Effective time management skills and attention to detail
