Job Description
The Field Operations Section (FOS) is responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and closure of Technical Assistance (TA) and Technical Cooperation (TC) projects. The ICAO Roster-Airworthiness Inspector will ensure that assigned companies meet the government's flight safety regulations with respect to maintenance, preventive maintenance and alteration programmes.
Requirements
- First level University degree
- Valid airframe and powerplant or equivalent license
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with national/multinational regulations such as FARs and JARs and must be familiar with appropriate ICAO rules and regulations
- Knowledgeable of certification methods of aircraft, maintenance facilities, and airmen; aircraft maintenance reliability programmes; composites; structure repairs; basic and advanced aircraft accident investigation; experience in general aviation, agricultural and preferable with the helicopter experience and background
- Minimum of two years recent experience in the field in a position of authority; over five years recent experience in conducting airworthiness inspections for various air carrier aircraft; airworthiness inspections of a large air carrier
