ICAO Roster-Dangerous Goods Expert

The Field Operations Section is responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and closure of Technical Assistance (TA) and Technical Cooperation (TC) projects. The position requires conducting desktop reviews of national dangerous goods regulatory frameworks and handbooks, providing reports and recommendations, and delivering training on dangerous goods transportation. The ideal candidate should have a first-level university degree in civil aviation, transportation, management, or a relevant area, with at least 7 years of management or supervisory experience in a civil aviation department, and a valid dangerous goods certification.

Requirements

• Conduct desktop reviews of national dangerous goods regulatory frameworks and handbooks
• Provide reports and recommendations on the findings of the reviews
• Deliver training on dangerous goods transportation to civil aviation authority inspectors
• Perform other related duties as assigned
