ICAO Roster-Unmanned Aircraft Expert

The Field Operations Section is seeking a Part-time ICAO Roster-Unmanned Aircraft Expert to develop UAS regulatory frameworks, advise on ICAO requirements, and conduct inspections to ensure safe and effective UAS operations.

Requirements

• University degree in any Civil Aviation field or relevant academic qualification
• Supervisory experience with a government department of civil aviation
• Extensive experience as a government specialist and/or inspector dealing with unmanned aircraft
• Experience in the preparation, checking programs, and development of training plans for inspectors and specialists
• Sound knowledge of related ICAO annexes, recommended practices and related documentation as well as FAA and EASA regulations
• Lead Auditor and or Auditor experience of 5 years as CAA auditor or safety auditor
• Certified as instructor to provide training for CAA inspectors and specialists
• A good command of oral and written English
