Engineering Manager

JBF Stainless is looking for an Engineering Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Engineering and Drafting department while performing regular duties of a Design/Process Engineer.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience in manufacturing related industry
• 2+ years of experience in Pressure Vessel Design
• 1+ years of team management in a related field or industry
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain quality service while under pressure
• High level of conscientiousness and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic
• Knowledge of ASME BPVC calculations
• Knowledge of 3-A Sanitary Standards and UL Safety Standards for tanks
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Inventor, Plant 3D
• Knowledge of mechanical, piping, and structural code
• Experience with welding and joint design of stainless steel, process piping and/or other AWS, BPE code specifications
• Experience in facility design including piping design, pump and compressors, safety systems, storage tanks, and heat exchangers
• Ability to accurately interpret and critically evaluate design drawings and schematics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Power Point
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat/other PDF Editor
