Job Description
ICEYE is seeking a Production Mechanical and Thermal Team Lead to manage all mechanical aspects of satellite production. This role involves leading a team of technicians and engineers, ensuring precision and repeatability in manufacturing, and working closely with various engineering teams to maintain high reliability and performance. The team will handle deployable mechanisms, environmental testing, and thermal hardware validation.
Requirements
- Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the mechanical production team.
- Oversee the preparation and execution of mechanical and thermal environmental tests.
- Ensure readiness and functionality of deployable subsystems.
- Develop, review, and improve work instructions and tooling.
- Train and mentor production technicians.
- Collaborate with Engineering, AIT, and Quality teams.
- Lead lean manufacturing and 6S implementation.
- Monitor build progress and escalate blockers.
