Job Description
ICEYE is seeking a Thermal Engineer for their Spacecraft and Payload team to develop and validate new satellite platform and payload, including thermal design, simulation, and testing. The role involves involvement in thermal hardware assembly, integration, and test activities, ensuring thermal performance meets requirements and contributing to future capabilities. The team operates in a dynamic environment, with a focus on innovation and impact.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge and hands-on skills in spacecraft thermal design, analysis and optimization.
- Familiarity with material science, testing (TVAC/thermal balance), and experience in structural/thermo-mechanical analyses.
- Experience in precise thermal stability control and system-level thermal analysis.
- Hands-on experience with thermal spacecraft hardware (heat pipes, MLI, active thermal control).
