Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
• Experience in a Special Education classroom setting with students who have significant disabilities
• Ability to obtain all required valid TX certifications within 18 months
• Valid TX certificate OR registered exam date for relevant certification
• Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adjust and adapt to a multitude of situations in the school environment
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• Record of results for students who are academically at risk
