IDEA Public Schools is seeking a School Counselor Applicant Pool to gather information on potential candidates and assess fit. The role focuses on student engagement, social-emotional learning, and coordinating mental health support. The school counselor will be responsible for leading campus teams, managing data, and ensuring student success. This is a full-time position and open to applications who can fit with the school's mission and values.

Requirements

• Master's degree in School Counseling, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field
• Valid TX School Counselor certification or counseling licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-S, LPC-A, LPC, LMFT)
• Experience in a school or school setting
• Proven track record of success
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage student behavior
• Belief in and alignment with IDEA’s mission and values
• Ability to adapt to a multitude of situations
• 90% Student Persistence
• 97.5% Average Daily Attendance (ADA)
• 90% of assigned teachers use MTW curriculum with fidelity
• Student Retention of 100%
