Job Description
IDEA Public Schools is seeking a School Counselor to lead family engagement, social-emotional learning programs, and mental health support for students. The role involves data management, action planning, parent communication, and collaboration with campus teams. The ideal candidate will build relationships with students and families, create a safe and supportive environment, and drive academic and social-emotional success for all students.
Requirements
- Master's degree in School Counseling, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field
- Valid TX School Counselor certification or counseling/social work licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LPC-A, LPC, LMFT)
- Proficient communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a school or school setting (preferred)
