Manufacturing Engineer

IDEX is a company that offers a unique opportunity to build or grow a career. The Manufacturing Engineer role provides mechanical and industrial engineering support to improve production quality, process capability, equipment reliability, and overall manufacturing productivity.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and industrialize manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and equipment
• Analyze product flows to reduce cycle time, scrap, rework, and variation
• Provide hands-on support to resolve manufacturing issues, optimize throughput, and maintain high operational readiness of production equipment
• Perform root-cause analysis using engineering principles and statistical tools to solve problems effectively and sustainably
• Create and maintain process documentation to ensure consistent product quality
• Partner with engineering, production supervisors, quality inspectors, planners, and technicians to achieve daily production objectives
• Lead or support new product introductions by developing initial process flows, prototype builds, and production-scale manufacturing solutions
• Coordinate vendor engagement related to tooling, equipment upgrades, and process improvements
• Implement Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, ergonomics, equipment uptime, and cost efficiency
