IT Sales Account Manager responsible for generating new leads, managing sales cycles, and providing technical support to clients. The role involves meeting revenue targets, upselling and cross-selling services, and maintaining customer relationships.
Requirements
- Generate new leads through professional networks, cold calling, and other methods
- Manage sales cycles and ensure customer product requirements are met
- Develop solutions and identify right technologies for clients
- Own and manage bidding process and propose end solutions
- Support senior management with market, account, competitor, and bid intelligence information
- Independently handle negotiations and deal closure for small and mid-sized deals
- Meet or exceed revenue targets by bringing in new customer logos and cross/up-selling to existing accounts
- Sell range of iHorizons services assigned to the role holder
- Ensure revenues generated are at acceptable gross margins
- Act as single point of contact for the customer always
- Provide customized client-specific support during three stages of client management
- Maintain continuous knowledge of project status and identify potential issues/opportunities
- Drive account management and influence organizational engagement resulting in footprint expansion
- Generate and maintain credible forecast for accounts, share information
- Prepare full account development plan to identify customers' business aspects and maximize business opportunity
- Identify and develop new leads from existing accounts
- Increase services offered to the customer and maximize income generated by cross-sell and up-sell
- Build trust and strengthen relationships by keeping customers informed on emerging technologies
- Prepare briefings on business, technical, and financial benefits of technology and collaborate with customers to develop customized solutions
- Support Sales Operations team to maintain and update customer file for each client
- Support Sales Operations team on contract renewals
- Facilitate maintenance (reducing churn) of existing customers to ensure renewal of annuity contracts
- Follow up on invoices and be responsible for payment collections
- Use iHorizons CRM to log and update all activities and generate sales reports
- Provide other ad-hoc reports and analysis as required by the Sales Manager
- Visit major customers on regular basis to strengthen relations and establish business opportunities
- Entertain customers as and when necessary to build strong relationships
- Maintain relationships with senior business and financial executives who influence purchasing decisions in customer companies
- Maintain relationships with technical decision makers on a day-to-day level
- Coordinate with Marketing Communications Coordinator on identifying and executing marketing opportunities
- Participate in trade shows and technology events to promote company products and develop leads
