Job Description
Coherent Aerospace & Defense is seeking an experienced Sr. Principal Program Manager to lead a cross-functional team in developing, defining, and executing project plans, schedules, and budgets for complex optical systems projects. The role involves collaboration with aerospace/defense customers, managing technical and financial risks, and ensuring customer requirements are met. This is a key position in a stable, growing company focused on cutting-edge optical technologies.
Requirements
- BS/MS in a relevant engineering or applied science discipline with 12+ years related experience, or 10+ years and a Master’s degree
- 5+ years of program management experience, tracking and planning projects
- Expertise with MS Project and other project management tools
- 5+ years of experience working in optics
- Demonstrable customer relationship management experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Decisiveness in prioritization
- Working in a professional environment
- All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent A&D EHS standards
