Sr. Principal Program Manager

Coherent Aerospace & Defense is seeking an experienced Sr. Principal Program Manager to lead cross-functional teams in developing, executing, and achieving project goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the custom optics industry, have proven project management experience, and be able to thrive in a collaborative environment. This role reports to the Product Line Director and is a key position within a growing stable business.

Requirements

• BS/MS in a relevant engineering or applied science discipline with 12+ years of experience, or 10 years and a Master’s degree
• 5+ years of program management experience, including tracking and planning projects.
• In depth knowledge of optical systems engineering and optical fabrication
• Demonstrable customer relationship management experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with MS Project
