Job Description
Impinj is a leading RAIN RFID provider seeking a Sr. Staff Product Applications Engineer. This role involves working with customers and partners to develop and implement IoT solutions using next-generation reader chip products, focusing on embedded firmware and system-level applications. The engineer will collaborate on designs and help scale the company's ecosystem in the rapidly growing IoT space.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or related technical field
- 12+ years of experience in product application engineering
- Strong track record of delivering impactful results
- Proficiency in writing and debugging embedded firmware
- Experience with interpreted languages (Python or JavaScript)
- Solid understanding of RF communications fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with embedded debug equipment
- Demonstrated ability to drive technical outcomes independently
- Excellent communication skills
