Job Description
Impinj is seeking a Staff Platform Systems Engineer to join their Platform Engineering team. This role involves researching, developing, and testing innovative RFID reader solutions and algorithms, working with platform firmware, software, hardware, and test teams. The ideal candidate will focus on building the foundation for Impinj's integration of RFID into various industries, like retail and healthcare, using technology to improve traceability and a digital identity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent
- 8+ years of experience in a related field
- Strong understanding of communication systems, signal processing, algorithms, and Matlab/Python/C/C++/Java
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages (C, C++, or Java)
- Ability to work in an Agile environment
- Data analytics and statistical analysis skills
