Job Description
Imprivata is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Corporate Counsel to join its collaborative legal team. This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a complex, high growth environment, looking to be deeply embedded with commercial teams to advance Imprivata’s strategic objectives while managing risk.
Requirements
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to at least one U.S. state bar
- 6+ years of substantive commercial transactional experience
- Excellent business judgment and the ability to identify issues, assess risk, and recommend practical solutions
- Familiarity with privacy and data protection laws, regulations and standards
- Understanding of ethical AI principles and IP issues arising from AI usage as it relates to commercial agreements
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to translate legal concepts for non-lawyers
