The India Climate Collaborative (ICC) seeks a Senior Manager - Climate Solutions to support and drive the sourcing, curation, and strategic deployment of climate solutions for philanthropy. The role is central to ICC's ambition of building a healthy climate ecosystem in India by developing pathways and pipelines of solutions across funder types (HNIs, Foundations, CSR).
Requirements
- 8–12 years of experience in climate action, development, or philanthropy, with at least 5 years in managerial roles.
- Master’s degree in climate/environmental studies, public policy, international development, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working in Mitigation/Energy policy space would be an added advantage
- Strong understanding of India’s climate ecosystem, including policy, philanthropy, and CSR.
- Proven track record in sourcing, evaluating, or implementing climate/development projects.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to design frameworks, build processes, and deliver outcomes under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to represent ICC externally with credibility.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, start-up environment with cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong interpersonal skills, and experience in partnership management
- Comfortable working with minimum supervision, and capable of building strategies
- A demonstrated record of effective communication (both written and verbal)
- Ability to manage competing deadlines, process information from multiple sources, and compile and articulate in a presentable manner
- Be a self-starter, flexible and comfortable in the grey to fill gaps in the organization, ready to support where required
- At ease when confronted with tight deadlines
- Familiar with start-up work culture
