Peer Tutor - Student Support Services

The Peer Tutor will work with the Academic Coach, Transfer Coach, and Program Assistant/Data Specialist to create a learning environment that promotes student academic success.

Requirements

• Enrollment as a full or part time student at Indian River State College with grades of a 'B' or higher in the tutorial subject area
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work with students from culturally diverse and/or disadvantaged backgrounds
• Ability to work independently as well as with others
• Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows based computer applications
