Job Description
IU Health is seeking a PRN Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to operate imaging equipment, prepare patients, and collaborate with radiologists and physicians. The position requires ongoing education and adherence to radiation safety protocols. This is a part-time role within a PRN setting at Methodist Hospital.
Requirements
- Operates imaging equipment (x-ray, fluoro, portable x-ray, fluoroscopy)
- Prepares patients for exams
- Collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians
- Follows radiation safety protocols
- Documents patient history
- Monitors patients during exam for safety
- Documents necessary information in EMR
