Job Description
Diagnostic Radiology Technologist PRN position located at Greenwood Urgent Care. Operates imaging equipment, prepares patients, and collaborates with radiologists and physicians. Requires 0-3 years of experience and certification through the American Heart Association.
Requirements
- Operates imaging equipment such as x-ray, fluoro, portable x-ray, and fluoroscopy equipment used in surgery.
- Prepares patients by explaining exam and positioning them correctly.
- Collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate imaging.
- Follows radiation safety protocols.
- Documents detailed patient history.
- Stays current with continuing education.
- Monitors patients during exam for safety.
- Documents necessary information in EMR.
- Assists with minimally invasive procedures as needed.
