Infosys Ltd. is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join the commercial transactions group of the Legal department, with responsibility for the Americas Sales region.
Requirements
- JD or master's degree from an accredited law school; with strong academic performance
- Minimum of 8 years' legal work experience after law school graduation
- Member of a State Bar or licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction where the position is located
- Prior experience working and supporting LATAM region clients and customers
- Blend of relevant law firm and in-house experience; preferably transactional IP/IT focused with at least 7 years of prior in-house experience
- Excellent drafting skills: demonstrated experience with commercial transactions
- Project Management Skills - experience overseeing and closing multiple projects and transactions simultaneously
- Creative problem-solving skills with a ability to think “outside the box”
- Commitment to ethics and integrity; professionalism and attention to detail
- Ability to identify and manage legal and business risk
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in Spanish and English (fluency in Portuguese is a plus)
