Job Description
The Director of Actuarial will lead the development and implementation of actuarial models and financial analyses to support pricing, forecasting, and risk adjustment strategies. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, CMS compliance, and leveraging data-driven decision-making to impact business strategy and performance. They will also lead a team of actuarial analysts and data modellers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field
- FSA/ASA or equivalent actuarial credential preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in actuarial, pricing, or financial analysis within health insurance or healthcare analytics
- Strong technical proficiency with SQL, SAS, R, Python, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
- Demonstrated experience with CMS, CMMI, or Medicare programs preferred
- Strong analytical and leadership skills
